Spaces of Possibility (SOP) operates at the intersection of real estate, art, and community development, offering a win-win for property owners, artists, and communities alike.

 

Our mission is brought to life through three key initiatives:

Property Donations for Artistic Use:

(SOP) works with property owners to accept donations of properties—whether temporarily (one-year leases) or permanently—transforming them into sustainable creative spaces. In exchange, property owners benefit from significant tax deductions while contributing to the growth of the arts in their communities.

Supporting Zero Empty Spaces Venues:

(SOP) provides opportunities for individuals and institutions to directly sponsor artists by covering the cost of rent at Zero Empty Spaces locations across the country. These spaces offer accessible studios and rehearsal areas, breaking financial barriers for artists while reactivating dormant properties.

Permanent
Creative Spaces:

(SOP) seeks to establish lasting, multi-purpose art hubs by turning donated properties into permanent facilities for artists. These spaces will include:

  • Art studios: Affordable, well-equipped spaces for visual artists.

  • Performance venues: Accessible stages for live performances, music, and theater.

  • Dance practice studios: Dedicated rehearsal spaces for dancers and choreographers.

  • Live/work accommodations: Integrated housing and studio setups for artists seeking affordable living options.
